Looking to cut out coffee but want to keep the ritual?

If you know me you know just how much I LOVE chocolate… its my favourite food. 

I gave up drinking coffee a few years back and have incorporated hot Cacao into my morning ritual instead. 

Not only does it taste delish but cacao also has many benefits including: 

  • High Alkaloid content which acts as a natural mood elevator and anti depressant 

  • Source of iorn

  • Source of magnesium 

  • High in antioxidants 

  • Boosts Libido

See my hot cacao recipe below:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic nut milk (I like almond)

  • 1 small table spoon of organic cacao.

  • Teaspoon of cinnamon 

  • 1/4 teaspoon (tiniest amount) of Cardamon

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of coconut oil 

  • 1 tea spoon of natural sweetener, honey or maple syrup works well

Put everything into a blender and whiz it up, this gives it a creamy thick texture. 

Add mixture to a pot and place on medium heat (make sure it doesn’t go all the way to boil!). 

Serve in your favourite mug and get comfy!
